Dean: Wayward song was the only song taken to the studio in a finished form.The rest were created in a three week bubble of writing, recording and hayfever during midsommar fest of 2007.
The studio was an Alladin’s cave of instruments and curiosities making for new sounds and hours of distracting nonsense. This album wasn’t about the trojectory of career milestones
or impending commercial deliveries. It was three weeks in time where two fellows dug into the idea of ideas; to the freedom to trying anything for a while, eat chesse, then trying again.
The release of this album 14 years late is a curious outcome we admit. Why did it take so long? We’re not entirley sure. But all good things have a time and they have a way of making
that time relevent. We’re proud of our exploritory noises and songs of life. Some material from these sessions made an earlier album Arco Set.
